With 4 different halls on 3 floors, we can accommodate as many as 230 guests. We also can provide off-site catering for your event.

We are happy assist with all details of planning and decoration, including floral arrangements, live music, and menu planning.
With an old-time charm, views and a full bar, the top-floor halls are the perfect place to host your wedding, party, or other private event. For large groups of up to 160 people, the two halls upstairs can be taken together and the door opened between them. For something more casual, the bar in the lower level is perfect for a party. All dining and buffet options include the hall rental and service at no additional charge.
Rauða Húsið restaurant is located in the heart of Eyrarbakki, close to the seaside. The charming historic village is just 10 minutes from the ring road, but a world apart. The restaurant specializes in seafood and other Icelandic favorites in a traditional setting with white tablecloths and antique decor. Our experienced team is accustomed to serving tour groups, parties, and more.
The house is on three floors, with the main dining room on the middle floor, a bar in the cellar, and banquet halls on the top floor. From the banquet halls on the upper floors, you can enjoy ocean and mountain views in a charming setting. There is a bar on the top floor shared by the two halls, the North and South Halls. These bright and beautiful halls are perfect for weddings, confirmations, parties, meetings and presentations. We provide all kinds of catering, from sit-down meals to coffee and finger foods.
The Cellar is perfect for parties, meetings or concerts with its informal atmosphere and cozy bench seating. It has a separate entrance and there’s a full bar. This hall (only) can be rented with or without food.
Hardwood floors, chandeliers and black-and-white old-time photographs. Depending on the seating arrangement, it can also accommodate a DJ or live band and space may be cleared for a dance floor.

Bright and beautiful, with high ceilings, the south hall overlooks the sea and mountains, the Eyrarbakki church, and Húsið. Bathrooms and a full bar are located adjacent to this hall.

Our main dining room with 42 seats at 14 tables. Originally built in 1919 as a shop, it features high ceilings and large windows. On the same floor as the main entrance.

When ordering from the group menu, please choose one me for the whole group. We can, of course, arrange alternative meals for any in the party who have special dietary requests or allergies.
